Spend a Transformative Week in the Nation’s Capital

HINKLY 4914, Capital Encounter is an amazing class that gives students the opportunity to learn how government works and participate in the policy and political advocacy process.  At the end of the semester students will travel to Washington DC to put what they have learned to work. 

The Hinckley Institute provides housing located in downtown Washington DC. Students are responsible for paying the cost of tuition, airfare and food.

Offered Spring Semester 2020. Application deadline is October 20^th.

3 credits – MW: 1:25 to 2:45 – DC trip April 30^th-May 6^th, 2020
